How to change the field labels on Miscellaneous Charges

In NCR Counterpoint, column labels can be changed through the use of customizations. This article explains how this can be done for the various Miscellaneous Charge fields. How to change the wording of ’Misc Charge 1’ on a Crystal Receipt form.

 Solution:

• In Setup / System / Configuration / Data Dictionary / System Data Dictionary select Tables: Column Codes. .
• Locate the NAM_PS_MISC_CHG_* columns.
• For the applicable column, click Customize column.
• In the Data Dictionary form, update the Display label, Long label, and Report label to the desired text.
• Exit and restart the NCR Counterpoint application.
