Error: Quickbooks Foundation Classes not installed

Summary:

The message ’Quickbooks Foundation Classes not installed’ is returned when attempting a direct interface to Quickbooks.

Cause: 

Quickbooks Foundation Classes (QBFC) must be installed before an interface with Quickbooks will work.

There are two versions of the Quickbooks Foundation Classes included in the CounterPoint SQL Complete download. Both versions are in the \3rdParty\QuickBooks directory.

Solution:

To interface to QuickBooks 2009 and earlier double-click on the QBFC5Install.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.

To interface to QuickBooks 2010 and later double-click the QBFC8Install.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
