Error: Distribution type is invalid for a destination company distribution

Summary:

Accounting Interface error: Error: Distribution type is invalid for a destination company distribution. 

Cause:

This message is given when attempting to interface distributions to Dynamics / Great Plains.

Either the Dynamics / Great Plains database name has been renamed or the company name in CounterPoint’s SQL Accounting Interface setup is incorrect.

Solution:

In Setup/ System/ Accounting Interface verify the following:

• The Database or ODBC name field name is unique and does not use the same DSN that Great Plains uses.
• The Company name is capitalized and is exactly as how it appears in Great Plains.
