Cause:

There is no debit pay code with bin ranges assigned, that match the card being swiped.

Solution:

In order to use the Swipe Anytime feature bin ranges/prefixes must be assigned to the pay codes in Setup / System / Pay Codes. Check the debit pay code in Setup / System / Pay Codes to see what prefixes are assigned on the Credit Cards tab.

The prefix of the card being swiped must match one of the assigned bin ranges for a debit pay/code card type.
