How to change the Grid Dimension Tag for a Gridded Item

Summary:

How to change the Grid Dimension Tags for a gridded item. Grid Dim tag is greyed out and cannot be edited.

Cause:

Grid dimensions cannot be edited if they have any inventory records, QOH, or outstanding transactions / committed inventory.

Solution:

There must be no quantity on-hand, quantity committed or current sales activity for the item before inventory records can be removed for a gridded item.

The dimension can be deleted by clearing out the dimension tag once the individual values of the dimension have been deleted.

Fill out the grid dimension tag to add a dimension to the gridded item.
