Summary:

Error: No form in this group applies to this document.  There is nothing to print

Cause:

Forms to print are setup in Setup/ Point of Sale/ Form groups. The Form Group is then assigned to the station’s setup (Setup/ Point of Sale / Stations).

Solution:

  • Review the Form Group (Setup / Point of Sale / Form Groups) and ensure that the type of form being used (.rpt, .rdlc, or .xml) is the same form type selected to print on the Station setup (Setup / Point of Sale / Stations). Verify that that From Group is assigned to that station (unless All form groups is selected).
  • Review the ’Applies to’ tab, to ensure the parameters set match what is intended for the document to print.
  • If this is happening in offline, ensure that file sync is not disabled on the station or server (see Online Help topic: File Sync / Disabling File Sync).  This will ensure that any custom forms are copied automatically to the station (or they can be copied manually).
  •  Test with customizations disabled, if the error is not received review customizations and custom files.
