CPMobile: Ignore Leading and Ingore Trailing settings are not working with UPC-E barcodes

Summary:

Using the Linea Pro scanner with CPMobile - when scanning UPC-A and UPC-E barcodes -  the ignore leading and ignore trailing settings are turned on but not working for UPC-E barcode types. 

Cause: 

If using the CPMobile sled or Socket Mobile barcode scanner, CPMobile can be configured to ignore the leading digit and/or the trailing check digit of UPC barcodes in (CPMobile Main Menu / Settings / Barcodes / Configure barcode scanning / Barcode Configuration). 
If this has been enabled but is not working for the Linea Pro Scanner, see below for information to reprogram the scanner, which should resolve the issue.
 

Solution:

Use the scan sheet provided to reprogram the Linea Pro scanner (not the 7ci scanner).
