*NEW* 4/11/23 : TLS1.2 requirement for Customer Connect / SmartAlerts connectivity (www.radiantretailapps.com)

Summary:

*NEW* 4/11/23 : TLS1.2 is now required for client connectivity to NCR Customer Connect / NCR SmartAlerts (www.radiantretailapps.com)

The TLS1.2 protocol requirement will be enforced as of 4/11/23 for client stations to be able to connect to: https://www.radiantretailapps.com/ and for connecting to NCR Customer Connect and NCR Smart Alerts to upload merchant data to allow these applications to continue to function as expected.   This protocol will need to be enabled on the Counterpoint Application server, which runs the Radiant Integration Agent) and all client stations that need to connect to the Customer Connect / SmartAlerts website ( https://www.radiantretailapps.com/ ).

Instructions to enable TLS 1.2 on servers and client stations can be found here. Lower protocols should not be disabled, the highest enabled protocol will be used by default.

Important note:  This does not affect merchants currently using NCR Secure Pay. NCR Secure Pay merchants would already have TLS 1.2 enabled as it is required for connectivity to NCR Secure Pay for payment processing.  This is only applicable/required for merchants that are using Customer Connect or Smart Alerts.
