Please be advised that NCR Secure Pay servers will be updated to Monetra v9.19.2. on 3/25 at 2 a.m. EDT. This update is to address the TSYS/MC compliance issue which is currently resulting in Invalid Street Address errors with the processor. There is no downtime expected during this upgrade.
This update may cause debit and EBT processing to fail. For DEBIT failures, a potential workaround would be to enable DEBIT PIN BYPASS on the NSP Portal for affected stores, and run the transactions as CREDIT. There is no workaround for EBT transaction – if errors are seen processing those transactions, please refer to the escalation path listed below.
Steps to enable DEBIT PIN BYPASS: https://securepayhelp.counterpoint.ncrvoyix.com/Content/Topics/Using_NCR_Secure_Pay/Configuring_Debit_PIN_Bypass.htm?Highlight=bypass
NOTE: If a change is made on the portal, please be sure to reboot all stations and payment terminals to ensure the changes are propagated down to the payment terminals.
Once PIN BYPASS is enabled, use the following selections on the payment device when prompted for PIN entry, to run the transactions as CREDIT:
- ISC250: Select the ’Cancel’ on the device.
- Lane5000 Select the Green button on the device.
- Equinox: Press the Yellow Arrow key.
