Ingenico Lane/3000, Lane/7000, and Lane/8000 Support

In NCR Counterpoint V8.5.6.4.003 or later, you can configure an Ingenico Lane/3000, Lane/7000, or Lane/8000 payment terminal as a Lane/5000 device in Setup > Point of Sale > Device Management.

NOTE: These payment terminals will be certified and fully supported—with specific Device Management options—in Counterpoint V8.5.7.1.

When configured as Lane/5000 payment terminals, these devices have the following limitations:

Lane/3000:

  • This device does not support signature capture. The dialog illustrated below will appear when you process a payment using any non-Credit card pay code that has been configured to prompt for signature capture. • This device does not currently support line display functionality. Make sure the Disable Line Display check box is selected for the device in Setup > Point of Sale > Device Management.
  • The default Counterpoint idle screen image will not be uploaded to this device automatically. In addition, custom idle images (i.e., L5000_AD1.jpg or L5000_AD1.png) cannot be uploaded to this device from Counterpoint. By default, the device will display a Monetra logo image when idle, as illustrated below.

  • The Ingenico Ads Editor utility does not support the Ingenico Lane Series of payment terminals.
