Error: No TAPI device selected


The message No TAPI device selected is given when attempting to authorize a credit card through CPDialup.


This message is typically given when a configuration change has been made in the Dialup Server Configuration utility.


  • Stop and restart the CPDialup service in order for the configuration changes to take effect.

The CPDialup Service can be restarted by rebooting the dial-up server or through the operating system's Control Panel Services.
