Error on settlement of batch in NCR Secure Pay: ERROR: Failure sending mail

Summary:

Error attempting to manually settle (or Auto Settle) a credit card batch in NCR Secure Pay:  ERROR: Failure sending mail 

The batch status on the Failed tab shows: Please Retry

Cause:

Processor setup issue on the account. 

Solution:

Contact the processor (or ISO) and have them change the account to have EDC flag set to: 2.
