How to extend timeout on Equinox devices / how to prevent equinox devices from going to sleep

      The inactivity timeout can be adjusted on the Luxe8500 by doing the following steps. Equinox device times out before transaction can be completed.  

Solution:

     The inactivity timeout can be adjusted on the Luxe8500 by doing the following steps.

1. Hold the magnifying glass till it beeps and then press it 2 times
2. On the desktop Menu select Setup
3. On the Setup Menu select System Config
4. Under System Config select next and then select Power Management
5. Under Power Management select next.
6. Set the Inactivity timeout by using the + or - until the display shows "Never"
