Bixolon printing double-spaced, extra blank lines

When printing a receipt using a Bixolon SRP350PlusII, there is a blank space in between every printed line.

Cause:

DIP switches are set incorrectly on the printer. To view the current settings of the DIP switches, hold down the FEED button while powering on the printer.

Solution:

To change the DIP switch settings on the Bixolon printer:

• • Power the printer off.
  • Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer.
  • Using a standard screw driver, remove the plate on the bottom of the printer.

The DIP switch settings should be as follows:

Bank 1: 1-5 OFF; 6-8 ON
Bank 2: All OFF
