Importing Gridded Items through Data Interchange

Solution:

When importing new gridded items through Data Interchange there are four tables which must have records added;

• • IM_ITEM
  • IM_GRID_DIM_1
  • IM_GRID_DIM_2
  • IM_GRID_DIM_3

Once records are added for each new gridded item run the Create Inventory utility (under Inventory > Utilities). This utility creates inventory records for the new items, including an inventory record for each grid dimension.

NCR Counterpoint Support recommends creating a gridded item in the software and using its record in the above four files as a template for the new gridded items to be imported.
