How to change the tab labels on maintenance windows

Solution:

Right-click on the title bar of the form and note the FormClass for the form. (Clicking on the FormClass line will copy the value, so it can be pasted in the next step.)

Right-click on the title bar of the form and choose Labels as FieldNames/ControlNames and note the name of the tab to rename.

Go to Setup/ System/ Configuration/ Text Dictionary. On the drop down menu choose Components. Click on the plus sign (+) in the Custom Value section to add a record.
In the Text ID field enter the FormClass of the form and the name of the ControlName of the tab, using the format FormClass.ControlName

For example : To change the value for the MAIN tab on the Item Maintenance screen, the FormClass for the Item Maintenance field is TFRMITEMS. The ControlName for the Main tab is TABMAIN.

The value to be entered for Text ID would be: TFRMITEMS.TABMAIN

In the Text field enter the desired name for the tab.
Click on the check mark to save the record.
Close the Text Dictionary and the next time the form is opened the new name will display.
